I just received confirmation that there is indeed speed skating today 4 pm – 6 pm. The ice is a bit wet but should make the ice fast!

6:07 pm, Friday December 18th 2015: By 5 pm today, “flooding” (the process of putting down water to make ice) began on the oval.
